Refund & Cancellation Policy

Start-Up Kro, owned by M/s Legal Thirst Associates, provides legal, tech, and content writing services through its website. By accessing the website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms of this Cancellation and Refund Policy and agree to be bound by it. The terms “we”, “us” and “ours” refer to Start-Up Kro, and “you”, “your” and “User” refer to any natural or legal person who uses the website or avails the services offered by us.

  1. Payment and Order Cancellation

1.1. Legal services: The payment made for legal services will be refundable within 1 hour of making the payment. However, cancellation after 1 hour will not provide any refund to the user.
1.2. Tech and content writing services: The refund for tech and content writing services is 50% if cancelled within 2 hours of payment. After 2 hours, no refund will be granted.

  1. Order Cancellation

2.1. Orders for DIY, E-signature, and Talk to Expert services cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.

2.2. Orders for Draft by an Expert, Review of a Contract, Company Incorporation, POSH, HR Legal Support, Website/ Business Legal Audit, and Trademark/ Copyright Filing can be cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order.

2.3. Cancellation requests must be made in the prescribed manner as stipulated in point 5 of this Policy.

2.4. No cancellation request shall be entertained once the aforementioned time period has expired.

  1. Refund

3.1. Any payments made by you on this Platform are in lieu of services (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Fee”) being rendered through the Platform. Once the Service Fee has been paid and the cancellation period has lapsed, wherever applicable, the work is assigned to our legal experts who invest their time and hard work to provide you with the best possible services which are non-returnable in nature. Refunds for cancelled orders will be initiated up to the amount paid for the services (after deducting all the necessary taxes) in your designated account within a period of 7 (Seven) working days.

3.2. The Service Fee paid by you for availing services is non-refundable due to resources and manhours spent on delivering the services. In addition to the Service Fee, any other charges such as taxes, filing fees, or government charges paid by you are non-refundable in nature. Under any circumstances, if at all the Company is liable for any refunds, the same shall not exceed the Service Fee paid by you for any particular service after deducting all the necessary taxes.

  1. Refusal and Cancellation of Services

4.1. Start-Up Kro reserves the right to refuse or cancel any services, if it suspects a fraudulent transaction, or suspects a customer has undertaken a transaction that is not in accordance with the Terms of Use or in case of unavailability of staff.

  1. Cancellation Request Procedure

5.1. To cancel an order, the user must send an email to or within the prescribed time limit, mentioning the order details and reason for cancellation.

  1. Amendments to the Policy

7.1. Start-Up Kro reserves the right to change the terms of this Policy without prior notice. Users are advised to check the Policy regularly to ensure that they understand the terms and conditions that apply at that time.

  1. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Policy if such failure is the result of any cause beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, fire, flood, labour disputes, embargoes, or governmental regulations or orders. In such an event, the Company shall be excused from its obligations under this Policy to the extent that it is affected by such force majeure event.

  1. Jurisdiction

This Policy and all disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.

If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page. By continuing to use the Platform after such changes have been made, you are agreeing to be bound by the updated Policy.
